Xbox Series X Gets November Launch, Halo Infinite Delayed To 2021
By Alleef Ashaari|August 12, 2020|0 Comment
Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Series X will definitely be launching sometime in November 2020, instead of the previously-generic Holiday 2020 release window. However, it’s still not a specific release date yet, and with good news comes bad news as well.
In addition to that, Microsoft and 343 Industries have also announced that Halo Infinite has been delayed to 2021. It was previously slated to release for the Xbox Series X and Xbox One in Holiday 2020.

The absence of Halo Infinite means that there’s effectively no major launch title for the Xbox Series X later this year. Instead, in their blog post, Microsoft is choosing to highlight the Xbox Game Pass, along with “more than 50 new games†that are launching with optimizations for Xbox Series X.
More than 40 existing games will also be optimized for the Xbox Series X, including hardware-accelerated DirectX ray tracing, 120fps frame rates, faster loading times, and Quick Resume support.
Existing backward compatible games across Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One will also run on the Xbox Series X when it launches in November. Now, we just have to wait for the official price of the Xbox Series X, as well as its definitive release date.
In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for all the latest news on the Xbox Series X, and check out all the latest updates and developments on all things Xbox to date here.
