Korean Movie Deliver Us From Evil Is An Action Extravaganza Set In Thailand

Deliver Us from Evil is a 2020 South Korean action film written and directed by Hong Won-Chan, starring Hwang Jung-min, Lee Jung-jae and Park Jung-min.

This movie was shot in Thailand, Korea and Japan, with almost 80 percent of the filming done in Thailand. It also marks the reunion of Hwang and Lee after 2013’s New World.

With an exotic setting and great action, Deliver Us From Evil looks like a good time at the movies, especially in the current barren cinematic climate.

The synopsis reads:

In Thailand, a shocking kidnapping takes place.

In-nam (HWANG Jung Min), a contract killer who most recently completed his final contract, finds out that the victim of kidnapping may be his next of kin.

He takes off to Thailand immediately to investigate and enlists Yui (PARK Jeong Min) for help and together they race against time to find the kidnapped child.

Meanwhile, Ray (LEE Jung Jae) finds out that his brother has been killed by In-nam and goes after him, leaving a large number of bodies in his quest to seek his revengeā€¦

Deliver Us From Evil is slated to premiere in Malaysian cinemas on 17 September 2020. In the meantime, check out the trailer below:
