Keanu Reeves To Reprise Iconic Role In John Wick 4 & 5
Keanu Reeves is a busy man these days, appearing in the upcoming CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Bill & Ted Face The Music, as well as The Matrix 4. Now, according to Deadline, he will also be reprising his role in the back-to-back sequels game with John Wick 4 and 5 to film consecutively next year.
In today’s Lionsgate earnings call, CEO John Feltheimer said,
“We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022.
We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.â€
John Wick 4 is currently scheduled for 27 May 2021, but John Wick 5 has yet to receive a release date. John Wick Chapter 3 Parabellum premiered in 2019 and managed to garner a total worldwide box office revenue of US$326.7 million (check out our review here).
