This Serie A Team Joins Juventus In Absence From FIFA 21

EA Sports has announced that another Serie A football team won’t be featured in the upcoming FIFA 21. AS Roma will no longer be officially available in FIFA 21 but will be replaced by a generic team named Roma FC.

However, the developer claims (via press release) that player likenesses will still be authentic, and the team will still be playable and equipped with a custom badge and kit throughout Kick-Off, Career Mode, FIFA Ultimate Team and VOLTA FOOTBALL.

This makes them the second team after Juventus not to feature in the FIFA franchise. Current Serie A champions Juventus signed an exclusive deal with Konami’s PES franchise last year.

Previous games like FIFA 20 are not affected, which means AS Roma will remain in those games. FIFA 21 is slated to launch worldwide on 9 October 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
