New Hyrule Warriors Game Announced, Prequel To Zelda Breath Of The Wild
By Alleef Ashaari|September 8, 2020|0 Comment
In an unexpected surprise reveal, publisher Nintendo and developer Koei Tecmo have announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a new game set 100 years before the events seen in 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.
What this means is that not only will this game act as a prequel to Breath Of The Wild, players can finally experience what happened during the Great Calamity. Just like 2014’s Hyrule Warriors and Koei Tecmo’s popular Dynasty Warriors franchise, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will feature musou hack and slash gameplay.
According to the official website, players can play as Zelda, Link, and other characters, as well as participate in local co-op multiplayer with their friends.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is slated to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on 20 November 2020. In the meantime, check out the epic trailer below:
