No More Heroes 3 Delayed To 2021

More bad news on the gaming front, this time from Grasshopper Manufacture and its quirky director Goichi “Suda51” Suda.

His upcoming title No More Heroes 3, the sequel to his bats*** insane action series featuring a psychotic weaboo with lightsabers beam katanas and even weirder assassins he must kill, will be postponed to 2021. This is because COVID-19 has put a strain on the game’s development and schedule. The team is prioritizing quality and pushing back the release year.

On a plus side, they’ve managed to recruit Darick Robertson (artist for The Boys) to contribute illustrations for the game. Further news and artwork will be shared at a later date.

Better for them to iron out the game’s kinks than rush a release period; I’m glad the company is pushing the game back. In the meantime, chill out with this No More Heroes theme from the second game, full of funk & such.
