HBO Max Renews Doom Patrol For Season 3
By Alleef AshaariVerified|September 13, 2020|0 Comment
Ahead of DC FanDome Day Two, Doom Patrol has been officially renewed for a third season on HBO Max, which will debut exclusively on the streaming service sometime in 2021. Season 2 recently ended its 9-episode run on 6 August 2020.
According to HBO Max original content head Sarah Aubrey (via Variety), Doom Patrol is “one of the most-watched Max Originals on the platform”, which is probably a big reason why they decided to renew the bizarre but great comic book series adaptation for yet another season.

Doom Patrol, based on the DC Comics group of characters of the same name, stars a misfit group of heroes comprising Robotman, Negative Man, Crazy Jane, Elasti-Woman, and Cyborg. It stars Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor aka Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Jane aka Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman and Joivan Wade as Victor Stone aka Cyborg.
Previous seasons of Doom Patrol also came out on the DC Universe streaming platform, but now that’s no longer the case. This begs the question: is Warner Bros. shutting down DC Universe and moving all its original programming to HBO Max?
