Metal Gear In Concert 2020 Live Stream Tickets Are Now Available

Konami has announced that the Metal Gear In Concert 2020 in Tokyo, Japan, on 11 October 2020. However, fans will be happy to learn that the entire concert will also be watchable through live streaming for the first time ever (via 4Gamer).

The Metal Gear In Concert will feature an orchestra performance of music from all five mainline Metal Gear Solid games, as well as 2010’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It will be performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Hirofumi Kurita.

The best part of it all is that Donna Burke herself will also appear and perform the iconic theme songs from the franchise, such as “Snake Eater” and “Heavens Divide”.

This will be the fourth consecutive Metal Gear In Concert to be held in Tokyo since 2017. The concert also previously took place in Osaka in 2017, Paris in October 2018, New York in March 2019, and Los Angeles in April 2019.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers have made measures in place to prevent infections in the venue on the Japanese official website. The measures include limiting the audience up to 50 percent of venue capacity, intensifying sterilization and ventilation, and refusing access to anyone who measured over 37.5 degrees Celcius in body temperature.

Everyone who attends the live concert will also be lucky enough to receive a face mask with the Metal Gear In Concert logo emblazoned on it.

Meanwhile, the live stream tickets will be sold at 3,500 yen or roughly RM137+. The concert will be streamed exclusively on the j-stream platform for those who bought the ticket on Kyodo Tokyo, and Streaming+ when purchased from eplus.

Live streaming ticket owners can also watch a recorded archive of the concert until 14 October 2020.

Metal Gear In Concert 2020 will take place at Tokyo International Forum Hall A in Tokyo, Japan on 11 October 2020.

The concert will begin at 5pm JST, or 6pm GMT+8 for Southeast Asian countries in Malaysia, and will be about 2 hours and 30 minutes in length.
