New Ejen Ali Campaign Launched To Celebrate Malaysia Day

In celebration of the upcoming Malaysia Day on 16 September 2020, Primeworks Studios and WAU Animation have announced the Ejen Ali #KitaJagaKita campaign as a call-to-action to support the nation’s heroic efforts in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ejen Ali is one of the most popular animated series to be produced by a Malaysian studio (WAU Animation), featuring protagonist Ejen Ali; a secret agent of the clandestine organization M.A.T.A. The animated series already boasts two seasons (both of which are currently available on Netflix) and a feature-length movie.

It is praiseworthy for featuring some of Malaysia’s best 3D CG action sequences yet. In addition, its unique techno-futuristic setting is perfect for the series’ excellent world-building and characters.

Primeworks Studios CEO Datuk Ahmad Izham Omar said:

“We are truly proud that the whole nation has been using the phrase #KitaJagaKita.

Initially conceived by Altimet and Malik Abdullah as an anthem to rally up the fighting spirit in EJEN ALI The Movie, we’re happy to hear the words #KitaJagaKita echoed by Malaysians.

Now that the nation is moving towards the recovery stage of the pandemic, we hope the #KitaJagaKita spirit will continue to encourage our beloved Malaysians to send their love and support towards our homegrown products in an effort to improve the nation’s economic situation.”

To commemorate the occasion, special Ejen Ali merchandise are available for sale.

EJEN ALI Misi: Bootcamp by Syarikat Permainan Malaysia (SPM) consists of three board games; ‘Squad Race’, ‘Ejen Vs Droids’, and ‘Gadget Assembly’.

A special promotional launch price is available for EJEN ALI Misi: Bootcamp, retailing at RM29.90 on the e-commerce platforms by Syarikat Permainan Malaysia, at spmgames.com.my, Lazada, Shopee and EJEN ALI official merchandise website at gear.wau.my for all EJEN ALI Gears Online Shopping.

The special promotional price is limited from 9 to 20 September 2020, returning to its full retail price of RM39.90 after this period.

A set of collectible trading cards have also hit the shelves; EJEN ALI Misi: Alliance, where collectors can build their personalised decks and battle each other.

EJEN ALI Misi: Alliance is available at RM3.80 for a pack of six cards on the e-commerce platforms Lazada, Shopee and EJEN ALI Gears Online Store. The collectible cards will be made available in 7-Eleven and MyNews.com soon.

Also available is the latest limited edition comic book, EJEN ALI: Side Mission, that chronicles Ejen Ali and his fellow agents’ adventures beyond the TV series and movie. The new merchandise line is available across major e-commerce platforms online, book stores and convenience stores.

The latest comic book EJEN ALI: Side Mission is available on e-commerce platforms – Lazada, Shopee, EJEN ALI Gears Online Store and major bookstores such as MPH, Popular and Syarikat Muda Osman, at the price of RM17.90.

On top of the new merchandise line release, the official music video of the theme song #KitaJagaKita featuring Altimet, Cuurley and Malik Abdullah, is now available on EJEN ALI’s official YouTube channel.

The music video features Altimet’s persona in animated form, represented by the character Andik, whom he also voiced in EJEN ALI The Movie.
