Doctor Strange Will Be Peter’s Mentor In Spider-Man 3

Just a week after news that Jamie Fox will be joining the sequel to 2019’s Spider-Man Far From Home as Electro, it’s reported that Benedict Cumberbatch will be appearing as Doctor Strange in the upcoming untitled Spider-Man 3 movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will be a father figure and mentor to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man, just like Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury before him.

Perhaps we’ll see a bit of what to expect from Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, which is Cumberbatch’s next outing as Doctor Strange. It might even be possible that Doctor Strange will somehow be involved in the arrival of beings from other universe, like Jamie Foxx’s Electro.

In the meantime, you can check out our review of Spider-Man Far From Home, which remains the last MCU movie to have been released to date. The next MCU movie we’ll be catching is Black Widow, and that’s going to be in 2021.
