A Year Later, The Outer Worlds Will Finally Be On Steam This October

The Outer Worlds, Obsidian’s sci-fi RPG that blends Fallout: New Vegas-style gameplay with Futurama-esque satire, has finished its 12-month Epic Games Store exclusivity. This means the game will be arriving on Steam’s PC digital distribution services on 23rd October.

If you’ve been waiting eagerly to play the game on your PC but via Steam, just remember that it’s a smaller-scale version of what Obsidian has been doing. While The Outer Worlds is a great game, it’s significantly shorter than Obsidian’s previous fares. You’ll be finishing this game in under 20 hours, tops.

In addition, the game’s big DLC Peril on Gorgon, is also worth buying since it brings in some new gameplay additions and a pretty nifty quest that gives out some Bioshock vibes.
