Genshin Impact’s Latest Update Changes Up Resin System; Fans Are Split
Genshin Impact, the game that everyone is still playing and doing humblebrags with their gachas, just received a new update. Dubbed 1.1, this update adds the following:
Sounds good, right? Well, the changes are causing quite a stir. The recharge rate is still slow, and 40 more Resin just means a couple more domains.
I mean 40 more resin just means 2 more domains or 1 extra boss a day which can be done in under 10min. This solves nothing. If you added the 40 and reduced the timer to 4 or 2min a resin then you might be onto something but that change is very insignificant in all honesty

You see Genshin Impact players, literally being given a FREE fleshed out PVE game that will be updated further with additional content and lore, and they're complaining about RESIN?
Ayt, please enlighten me where the saltiness is coming from. (2/2)— GLOCO?? (@GLOCOgaming) October 23, 2020
For those who think it's a bad design:
IT'S A PART OF MOST IF NOT ALL GACHA GAMES!!Regular gacha games just make you spend your stamina and be done with it, and that's totally normal.
I know people want to spend more time playing Genshin, but please be more civilized smh.— ????@tama (@pgilergpow) October 23, 2020
Then again, it’s a free RPG you don’t have to pay money for if you’re thrifty enough. And as the last Twitter comment pointed out, gacha games are just built that way, much like fat-bottomed girls and US elections.
