Malaysia’s FV Cup Fighting Game Tournament Is Slated For 21st November

Malaysia fighting game group Flash Vision will be hosting its FV Cup 2020 later this November, bringing a whole slew of fighting game folks and players together from all over Malaysia, be it the Klang Valley or the east sides of Sarawak and Sabah. This time, they come under the Level Up KL banner, meaning they have full support from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
Here are the details.
Date: 21st November
Venue: Sungei Wang Plaza
Prize Pool: RM4,000; 1st place winner gets RM500.
Games: Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ, The King of Fighters XIV
Given the situation in Malaysia at the moment, we’re pretty the aforementioned groups organizing this tournament will take special precautions in letting people participate and have fun in an online environment. Let’s hope there aren’t any pandemic-related complications that can shut offline events quicker than an Aegis Reflector; the game events business has surely been hit hard for the majority of 2020.
