[Rumour] Persona 5 Scramble Will Be Out In English In 2021

It feels like Persona fans have been waiting a long time without any official news on a localized English version of Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers. It’s been nine months since the sequel to 2017’s Persona 5 launched in Japan on 20 February 2020.

However, fans might not have to wait much longer, if the recent rumours are to be believed. Several Asian retailers have reportedly listed down a 23 February 2021 release date for the English version of Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers.

This includes Indonesian retailer PS Enterprise (PlayStation 4Nintendo Switch), as well as Singapore-based retailers Qisahn (PlayStation 4Nintendo Switch) and Toy Or Game (PlayStation 4Nintendo Switch).

The aforementioned listings are stated as Region 3 or R3, which refers to the Southeast Asian region (just as R1 is for the U.S. and R2 is for UK/Europe). The release of the game in Southeast Asia will probably be handled by Sega Asia and not Atlus West.

The Chinese and Korean versions of Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers were already released in Southeast Asia on 18 June 2020.

Previous reports indicated that Koei Tecmo seemingly doesn’t care about the English localization of Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers anymore, but that might not turn out to be true after all.
