Doom Eternal For Switch Launches Next Week
By Alleef Ashaari|December 1, 2020|0 Comment
Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software have announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Doom Eternal will launch via the Nintendo eShop on 8 December 2020.
The Switch version of the game was developed in partnership with Panic Button, the same studio behind the Nintendo Switch ports of 2016’s Doom, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein Youngblood.
Motion Aiming arrives for Doom Eternal on Nintendo Switch, a control option that utilizes the built-in gyroscope of the Joy-Con. The option can be used in conjunction with traditional aiming using the controller’s analogue stick for the perfect blend of immersion and accuracy.
DOOM Eternal first launched on PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Bethesda.net, and Stadia on 20 March 2020.
PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are planned for release sometime in 2021.
