Netflix’s Blood Of Zeus Renewed For Season 2
Blood Of Zeus premiered its first season on Netflix on 27 October 2020, and it’s already getting a confirmed renewal. Netflix has renewed Powerhouse Animation Studios’ Blood Of Zeus for Season 2 via a tweet earlier today.
We even included it in our Netflix October 2020 lineup highlights. Powerhouse Animation Studios is the same studio behind Netflix’s Castlevania and Seis Manos animated series, all of which are geared towards adults.
The synopsis reads:
In a brewing war between the gods of Olympus and the titans, Heron, a commoner living on the outskirts of ancient Greece, becomes mankind’s best hope of surviving an evil demon army, when he discovers the secrets of his past and his true heritage as a son of Zeus.
Supergiant Games’ Hades has been taking the world by storm since it recently left Early Access on Steam (check out our review here). Perhaps this series will scratch more of that Greek mythology itch for fans.
