New Esports Merger Aims to Shake Up Local Esports Scene
By Alleef Ashaari|December 9, 2020|0 Comment
The Esports Business Network (EBN) is an organization consisting of merging Orange Esports, The Gaming Company dan TGC Productions. They have announced a new Esports City located at Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
The EBN Esports City also has a special partnership with League Of Legends developer Riot Games, the first of which will be hosting the Valorant Challenger competitions for Malaysia and Singapore. It’s all part of the Valorant Champions Tour in 2021.
The main attractions of the EBN Esports City include the EBN Esports Arena; a massive event hall that can accomodate up to a thousand people, and the Orange Esports Club; a premium esports cafe. There are also three fully-equipped live broadcasting studios under the same roof.
It’s sort of weird that they’re opening an esports arena in these tumultuous COVID-19 times, but perhaps it was already in the works for a while.
The EBN Esports City will begin operating in early 2021. Stay tuned on their official Facebook page.
