Remedy’s Control Sales Surpass Two Million

Developer Remedy Entertainment has announced that total sales for Control have surpassed two million units. The news was announced during its Capital Market Day presentation.

November 2020, which was about 15 months after the game’s initial launch, was the best-selling month for Control. Over 60 percent of the game’s 2019 and over 90 percent of the game’s 2020 sales were digital.

Control originally launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store in August 2019, followed by PC via Steam in August 2020. Cloud-based versions of Control launched for the Nintendo Switch and Amazon’s Luna service in October 2020.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are slated for early 2021. However, Control is also currently available on the Xbox Game Pass.

We named Control one of the best games of 2019. You can also check out our review of the game here.
