Granblue Fantasy News Fiesta
Last weekend, publisher and developer Cygames announced a number of big news during its online expo Granblue Fantasy Fes 2020. Let’s break it down:
The upcoming action RPG will be out for PS4 and PS5 on 2022. The new demo features protagonists Gran and Djeeta, equipment, abilities, party formation, and a couple of stages capped off with a sweet boss fight. Check it out at 6:16:57 onward.
The game was originally going to have a new protagonist named Blue, but because of Gran and Djeeta’s unique personalities being developed over time, Blue was shelved. Instead, Blue’s outfit will be repurposed for Granblue Fantasy Relink at some point in the game’s story.
This fighting game’s second season will be filled with more new characters.
First up is Yuel, who was revealed early on. She will be out on 14th December; yep, that’s today. She is a speedy rushdown character with a unique Third Dance stance that counters incoming attacks and mixups, but at the cost of her mobility.
Next is Anre, a long-ranged keepaway character who will be out late January 2021. In addition, there will be new character balances and updates this December.
