By Alleef Ashaari|December 17, 2020|0 Comment
Monster Hunter World has been a huge success for Capcom since it launched in 2018. Both the base game, and the 2019 Iceborne expansion, have sold millions of units worldwide across PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
However, Monster Hunter World Iceborne and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate director Daisuke Ichihara has left Capcom and is now employed by ILCA.
ILCA (I Love Computer Art) is a a Japanese studio that mainly produces games, but also CG animation and other digital-based content.
The news comes from an ILCA special interview published by CGWORLD.JP, in which Ichihara is introduced as ILCA’s Kyoto Development Division director.
In a statement, Ichihara said:
“You only live once, right?
I’d like to build an organization that can realize the proposals of staff who have something they want to create.
I myself joined the company as a mid-career hire, but I really want to build up this young organization together.â€
