Stardew Valley Gets A Big Update This 2020

Stardew Valley, arguably this generation’s best farming sim game, is getting a big-as-hell update since its launch back in February 2016.

Developer Concerned Ape has released its version 1.5 update right now, which introduces a new farm type: the beach farm. The beach farm offers the following:

  • Good foraging and fishing, and tons of open space
  • Chance of supply crates to wash up on shore
  • Sprinklers do not work in the sandy soil

The update also adds in new gameplay options like adjusting mine rewards, split-screen co-op, and late-game content involving encounters and crafting. Full notes can be read here or below this post. Basically, it’ll be wise to cap off 2020 with another visit to Stardew Valley.
