The Best Nioh 2 Character Is Getting A Plushie

One of the best and most memorable characters from this year’s Nioh 2 isn’t even a human. It was a little yokai (spirit monster) called Scampuss, which are adorable little fluffs of fur.

They’re essentially big chonk cats, which you find hiding in spots around levels in Nioh 2. If you pet them, they’ll come rolling along with you for a brief amount of time, even attacking enemies.

During a special Nioh 2 live stream earlier today, Koei Tecmo has announced is releasing a plushie of the Scampuss sometime in May 2021. Early bird pre-orders are open in Japan from now until 4 January 2021.

Those who also pre-ordered the upcoming Nioh Collection physical re-releases will get further discounts on the Scampuss plushie.

Nioh 2 is one of the best Soulsborne action games ever made. You can learn more about why that is in our full review here.
