Dishonored Co-Creator Is Working On A New Project

Dishonored franchise co-creator Harvey Smith is working on a mysterious new game at Arkane Austin, alongside the team of developers behind from Dishonored and 2017’s Prey.

In an interview with Spanish publication Vandal, Smith said that he had returned to Arkane Austin after four years working with Arkane Lyon for Dishonored 2.

He also confirmed that he’s not working on the new Arkane Studios game Deathloop, which is slated to launch on 21 May 2021. However, he only mentioned that he’s working with the Dishonored and Prey teams on a new game.

Smith stops short of revealing what game he’s actually working on, but it could very well potentially be a new entry in either the Dishonored or Prey franchises.

Dishonored 2 came out in 2016, with a standalone separate spinoff game Dishonored Death Of The Outsider released only a year later in 2017. The franchise remains one of the best modern immersive sims, and it would be great to see a new next-gen entry.

Dishonored 3, anyone?
