Limited Run Games has announced that they will sell limited print physical editions of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Pre-orders will begin on 11pm GMT+8 on 15 January 2021 and will last for six weeks.

Limited Run has three different versions of the physical edition: the Standard Edition, the Classic Edition, and the K.O. Edition. The latter two have additional custom boxes (the K.O. Edition’s is a “hardshell roadie case box” that opens up to a pop-up scene of Scott’s band rocking out), and both include a CD soundtrack, sticker sheet, and a folded map of the game’s overworld.

• Premium hard-shell roadie collector’s case box featuring working lights and sound. Opening the case turns on the lights and sound (music from Anamanaguchi) as well as revealing a pop-up scene of Sex Bob-omb.
• Contents in the case can be accessed by lifting the concert stage.
• Full-color instruction booklet.
• Reversible covers.

Fans of Scott Pilgrim will be able to appreciate the myriad goodies that come with these physical editions. They simply scream retro, and you should probably grab the opportunity to pre-order as soon as possible. Remember, these are limited edition collectibles, and it was a miracle, to begin with, that Ubisoft even started selling the game again.

While pre-orders for PS4 and Nintendo Switch will open on 15 January 2021, Limited Run Games also plans to do a physical edition for Xbox One at a later unspecified date.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, and Uplay, and Stadia on 14 January 2021.
