[Rumour] Star Wars Battlefront 3 Is In The Works

It looks like Star Wars Battlefront 3 might be in development and we could even be getting an announcement from EA soon. Speculation on a new game began recently when two voice actors from Star Wars Battlefront 2 tweeted about working together on a secret project.

Anthony Skordi played Admiral Garrick Versio in Star Wars Battlefront 2, while TJ Ramini played Del Meeko, both of whom are prominent characters in the story of the game.

Later, there was also some wild rumours circulating on Reddit about Star Wars Battlefront 3 being in early development as developer EA DICE is currently hard at work focusing on another rumoured game, Battlefield 6. Video games industry insider Jeff Grubbs also recently mentioned (in a YouTube video) that despite all the Star Wars game in the works by other companies like Ubisoft, EA will still be making more Star Wars games like Battlefront and Jedi Fallen Order.

If all this turns out to be true, then EA DICE is working on two massive FPS games. Battlefield 6 will likely release first, with Star Wars Battlefront 3 to come in the next few years. Surely they didn’t just give away Star Wars Battlefront 2 for free on Epic Games Store for no reason, right? Speaking of, that game is still up for grabs on the Epic Games Store at the time of writing.

However, take all this with a grain of salt for now. EA has yet to announce any major games for 2021, but we’ll definitely hear more from them in the coming months.
