The Predator Goes Hunting In Fortnite Today

Everyone’s favourite ugly alien bounty hunter is joining Fortnite in the 15.21 update later today. The Predator is available to unlock for current battle pass holders via new challenges.

In the battle royale game, Predator has also become a roaming boss, able to be found and battled on the map for all players. You can find him in the jungles of Stealthy Stronghold.

Defeating the Predator will drop a Predator’s Cloaking Device, which lets players become near-invisible for a short period of time. However, equipping a weapon or entering water will cause players to decloak, and it has a 30-second cooldown time.

Here’s the Cloaking Device in action:

Fortnite Battle Pass owners will be able to unlock the Predator and a full set of themed gear for an as-of-yet unknown amount of V-Bucks. It does look pretty cool and authentic. The Predator can even take off his mask and roar.

In other related news, Fortnite is getting a slew of new pop culture and gaming skins this season, including God Of War‘s Kratos.
