The new Godzilla Vs. Kong poster shows Godzilla swimming toward a city with Kong in the centre. It’s unclear if or whether one of these monsters will be playing the antagonist. Or will there be a mutual enemy kaiju which will require them to team up? Anything can happen at this point.
We’ve already seen King Ghidorah in the Monster-Verse, but perhaps we’ll see other monsters like the alien monster Orga (which appeared in 1999’s Godzilla 2000 Millennium) or maybe even a Mecha-King Ghidorah (which first appeared in 1991’s Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah).
This new poster comes only a week or so after the movie was announced to be premiering on 26 March 2021. Godzilla Vs. Kong is a sequel to 2019’s Godzilla: King Of The Monsters and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island. It will star Millie Bobbie Brown, Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd, and Rebecca Hall, as well as directed by Adam Wingard, who is best known for You’re Next, V/H/S, and Blair Witch.
In the meantime, check out the poster in all its glory below to tide you over until the poster’s eventual release:
