Evil Genius 2 Gets New 2021 Release Date

In August 2020, developer Rebellion announced that Evil Genius 2 World Domination would be delayed to the first half of 2021. Now, we have finally received a release date for the upcoming satirical spy-fi lair builder supervillain sim management game.

Revealed in a new trailer, Evil Genius 2 World Domination will now launch for PC via Steam on 30 March 2021.

The game will feature four villainous masterminds, including the narcissist despot Max, heavy-muscle madman Ivan, manipulative ex-spy master Emma, and scientist zealot Zalika. Each of them will have their own unique story campaign. There will also be three different island locales, which players can design, build, and customize.

Players can also look forward to modern base-building mechanics and loads of gameplay features totally new to the series, including multiple-floored lairs, new rooms, henchmen, agents, traps and more. From the deliciously fatal Sushi Chef to the always famished Venus Spy-Trap, you have a huge number of ways to stop the Forces of Justice from foiling your dastardly plans.

In addition, Rebellion also said that we should expect “loads of fiendishly exciting surprises on the way in the coming weeks”, including a new, unannounced game mode.

In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below:
