A Slam Dunk Movie Is In The Works
Original manga creator Takehiko Inoue has announced that a Slam Dunk movie is in the works. At first, it wasn’t clear if he was talking about an animated or live-action movie.
However, that was cleared up when the official Slam Dunk movie Twitter account dropped in and confirmed that it would be an animated anime movie after all (according to their Twitter bio).
You can head on over here for the official Slam Dunk movie website, though there are currently no details as of yet. The original Slam Dunk manga and anime (by Toei Animation) ran from 1993 to 1996.
