A Wall Street Gamestop Movie Is Already In The Works
By Alleef Ashaari|February 2, 2021|0 Comment
Last week, the world was rocked by the Wall Street Gamestop fiasco (which you can read all about here). Hollywood being what it is; a movie about the Wall Street GameStop scandal is already on the way.
According to Deadline, MGM has acquired a proposal by Ben Mezrich, which is titled The Antisocial Network. The book actually hasn’t even been written, considering that the stuff only happened last week. However, Mezrich already boasts an impressive portfolio, including The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal, which was adapted into David Fincher’s The Social Network (2010).
Aaron Ryder is set to produce the film, with Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss executive producing. No director or release date has been attached to The Antisocial Network yet.
