Developer Panic Button is overseeing the development of the Nintendo Switch version of Respawn Entertainment’s popular battle royale game. They’re the same studio that brought multiplayer vehicular combat title Rocket League to the Nintendo Switch.
According to the same source, Apex Legends Champion Edition is also coming to the Nintendo Switch, but a bit later on 18 March 2021. Apex Legends Champions Edition features all existing Legends until Season 7, which includes Caustic, Mirage, Octane, Wattson, Crypto, Revenant, Loba, Rampart and Horizon.
It also features the following seven exclusive Legendary items and in-game currency: “Risen Queen†Wraith skin, “Forged Knight†Revenant skin, “Hallowed Spirit†Crypto skin, “Curse of the Awaken†Triple Take skin, “Slayer’s Lancer†Flatline skin, “Jaded Myth†Sentinel skin, “Emperor Nessy XIV†Gun Charm and 1,000 Apex Coins.
All Apex Legends Nintendo Switch players (who buy the Season 8 Battle Pass) will also receive a whopping 30 free levels on the Season 8 Battle Pass, to help catch up on the new Season. That’s right, especially now that Season 8: Mayhem has officially gone live for consoles and PC. Nintendo Switch players will also earn Double XP for two weeks after release.
#NintendoSwitch players will earn double XP March 9-23, receive the first 30 levels and all associated rewards immediately with the purchase of the Season 8 Battle Pass.

Why is this so? That’s because crossplay will be available at launch, which means that Nintendo Switch players will be able to play with players on other platforms.
