Malaysian-Made Doctor Who Game Gets Release Date

Malaysia-based games developer Kaigan Games (best known for the horror mobile games Sara Is Missing, 2017’s Simulacra and 2019’s Simulacra 2) announced Doctor Who The Lonely Assassins for Android, iOS, PC and the Nintendo Switch back in 2020. Now the mobile game has finally received a release date and it’s next month.

Doctor Who The Lonely Assassins is slated to launch on 19 March 2021. However, the Nintendo Switch version has yet to receive a release date.

You can pre-register the game on Google Play Store, pre-order on the Apple App Store, or wishlist the game on Steam to earn special milestone rewards, including bonus story content, digital wallpapers and printable posters.

Doctor Who The Lonely Assassins will see players uncover and decipher the mystery of a ‘found phone’, unravelling a sinister series of events taking place at Wester Drumlins, the iconic ‘uninhabited’ home featured in the legendary Doctor Who episode Blink. Someone is missing, and a menacing new nemesis has emerged. Players will work with Doctor Who character Petronella Osgood and other classic characters as they get steadily closer to the truth.

All I can say now is what a great time it is to be a Whovian, and a Malaysian Whovian at that. Allonsy, my friends! In the meantime, check out the brand new trailer below:
