The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal Is Our Joel In HBO’s The Last Of Us
By Alleef AshaariVerified|February 11, 2021|0 Comment
In the same day that Bella Ramsey’s casting as Ellie was announced, we now officially have our Joel as well for the upcoming HBO’s The Last Of Us TV series.
According to Deadline, Pedro Pascal will be playing Joel Miller in HBO’s The Last Of Us, alongside the recently-confirmed Bella Ramsey as Ellie. Pedro Pascal is a huge star and surely needs no introduction, best known for playing protagonist Din Djarin in Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian and supervillain Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984.
What’s interesting is that, just like Bella Ramsey, Pascal was also in Game Of Thrones, playing the Oberyn Martell AKA the Red Viper. However, does this mean that Pascal’s time on The Mandalorian will end soon? Surely not even the likes of him can juggle the time and energy playing the lead of two massive shows at the same time, so we’ll have to see what happens.
HBO’s The Last Of Us will be written and executive produced by Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and the original game director Neil Druckmann. It will be co-produced by Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, Word Games, and Naughty Dog.
There is no release date as of yet.
The Last Of Us Part 2 is out now for the PS4. In the meantime, check out my full spoiler-free review of the game here, or head on over here for a guide and tips for the game.
