We still don’t know much about Apex Legends Mobile, despite being initially announced back in 2019. However, EA teased in 2020 that they were working with a partner in China on the mobile version of the popular free-to-play battle royale game. We might finally know who they were talking about back then.
According to multiple sources (via IGN India), Tencent is developing Apex Legends Mobile, with Respawn Entertainment in a supervisory role. Apex Legends Mobile will also reportedly launch sometime in the third quarter of 2021, though that remains subject to change considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the same sources, we might also already have the specs for Apex Legends Mobile for both Android and iOS devices. The spec requirements suggest an A11 Bionic and above for iOS (which is equivalent to iPhone 8 and above) and at least a Snapdragon 625 or above for Android devices.
However, none of this has been confirmed by EA or Respawn Entertainment at the time of writing, so take all of this with a grain of salt for now. Meanwhile, Apex Legends is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch on 9 March 2021, developed by Panic Button. Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei.
