What Can We Expect From Blizzcon 2021?

Blizzcon 2021 will be aired later this weekend on 20th February 6am GMT+8. What can we expect from the upcoming event?

Watch the stream below!

According to some sources, not much apparently. Twitter’s Metro_OW, who is renowned for being on point with Overwatch leaks, said to lower expectations for Blizzcon 2021. There will be:

  • Progress reports on Overwatch 2, including the reveal of new heroes for the sequel.
  • Not many updates going on with the first Overwatch.
  • A showcase of the Diablo II remaster; the one that may be worked on by Vicarious Visions.
  • New Hearthstone expansion involving the Horde.

There’s no news or leaks regarding Diablo IV or a release date for the mobile Diablo Immortal F2P game. Still, take the above bullet points with a grain of salt since they’re still classified as rumours. Although with the recent Twitter poll they launched, it doesn’t seem like anyone cares.

Unsurprisingly, the Twitter post was taken down.

Regardless, we’ll be sure to cover Blizzcon 2021 later this week, so stay tuned.
