Amazon’s Invincible Is Definitely Keeping The Gore Intact
If you’re worried that the Amazon adaptation of Invincible is going to tone down the content from the comics, you clearly haven’t been paying attention.
Amazon just released the trailer for its upcoming R-rated animated superhero show, and it’s looking great. This is basically the comic book brought to life, colours and all. We also get a bit of gore in a couple of scenes too.
If you think that’s intense, it gets bloodier & more intense in later volumes of the comic. Trust me on this.
We should also point out how packed the voice cast for this show is. We have Sandra Oh (Debbie Grayson), Seth Rogen (Allen the Alien), Gillian Jacobs (Atom Eve), Andrew Rannells (William), Zazie Beetz (Amber Bennett), Walton Goggins (Cecil Stedman), Jason Mantzoukas (Rex Sloan), Zachary Quinto (Robot), Mahershala Ali (Titan), and Mark Hamill (Art Rosebaum). So far.
The show will debut on 26th March; the first three episodes will air on that date. Subsequent episodes will be out every Friday leading up to the finale on 30th April. Comic fans who love this comic book series are in for a heartwarming-yet-bloody treat.
