There are Far Cry 6 beta emails going around that may seem legit but are actually fake scams. This has been confirmed by Ubisoft themselves earlier today, as several influencers reported receiving suspicious beta codes for the upcoming game.
The fake Far Cry 6 beta invite was reported by YouTuber theRadBrad. The phishing email even appeared to feature an official Ubisoft address and an embargo with a special password for access. However, clicking on it will result in the installation of malware that “watches your screen and records everything you do.”
While details on the malware and fake email weren’t shared, Ubisoft confirmed that it was a scam and users should ignore it if they receive similar emails.
We can confirm the email regarding FC6 beta access is a phishing attempt. It has been reported. Please do not respond if you have received this email or similar. Thank you for the report! https://t.co/G7jBlRS6IW

It was announced late last year in 2020 that Far Cry 6 would be delayed beyond its original 18 February 2021 release date. The company has yet to reveal a new official release date but a leaked listing indicates that Far Cry 6 may be slated to launch for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on 26 May 2021.
