New PlayStation State of Play Livestream Is Happening This Friday

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a new episode of PlayStation State of Play live stream. It will air at 6am GMT+8 on Friday, 26 February 2021 and will run for about 30 minutes.

In a PlayStation Blog post, Sony is promising new game announcements, as well as updates on some of the third-party and indie titles that we last saw in the PS5 June 2020 showcase.

In case you forgot, games that were revealed during the PS5 June 2020 live stream included (not including the ones that have already released, like Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales):

  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (which is coming on 11 June 2021)
  • Horizon Forbidden West
  • Gran Turismo 7 (which was just delayed to 2022)
  • A sequel to 2018’s God of War (which might be titled God Of War Ragnarok)
  • Deathloop
  • GhostWire Tokyo
  • Resident Evil Village
  • A PS5 version of GTA V
  • Jett The Far Shore
  • Kena Bridge Of Spirits
  • Stray
  • Solar Ash
  • Project Athia
  • Returnal
  • Goodbye Volcano High
  • Oddworld Soulstorm
  • Little Devil Inside
  • Pragmata

It’s unclear at this point how many of the 10 games will be new and how many will simply be updates. The last PlayStation State Of Play presentation was back in August 2020.

However, the new PlayStation State Of Play live stream won’t focus on PlayStation hardware or “business-focused updates”, so we won’t be seeing news about the new PlayStation VR anytime soon.

Check out the PlayStation State of Play live stream this Friday at 6am GMT+8 on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
