Pokémon Presents February 2021: All The Games

The Pokémon Company hosted a special Pokémon Presents live stream earlier tonight to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

Here are all the announcements:

New Pokémon Snap

New Pokémon Snap is coming to the Nintendo Switch on 30 April 2021. You can pre-order the game now.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shiny Pearl

The Pokémon Company announced remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, which are retitled Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, respectively.

They are slated to release for the Nintendo Switch sometime in late 2021.

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl were originally released in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in the rest of the world for the Nintendo DS.

Pokémon Legends Arceus

Pokémon Legends Arceus seems to be a new open-world game is coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2022.

The gameplay footage showed a trainer being presented with three starter Pokémon from a variety of regions: Rowlet from Alola, Cyndaquil from Johto, and Oshawott from Unova. The game takes place in the Sinnoh region in the past during the feudal era.

Players will have to throw old Poké Balls at wild Pokémon to catch them. The legendary Pokémon Arceus also plays a major role in the game, but no details were provided.
