Henry Cavill Teases Secret Mass Effect Project
By Alleef Ashaari|February 25, 2021|0 Comment
Henry Cavill has teased a new “secret project” that seems to be related to Mass Effect. He posted a black and white shot of himself enjoying a hair and makeup session on the set of Netflix’s The Witcher Season 2 with a mysterious caption:
“Secret project? Or just a handful of paper with random words on it…. Guess you’ll have to wait and see.”
The words on the paper look blurry, but the folks over at Gamepressure unveiled the words via Focus Magic; a software tool designed to remove unwanted blur from pictures, and the results are shocking.
The paper seems to contain words such as Cerberus, Reaper, Geth, and Tali’Zorah, all of which are from BioWare’s Mass Effect universe, which apparently have been taken directly from the Mass Effect 3 Wikipedia page.
“Following the events on Tuchanka and a failed coup by Cerberus to take over the Citadel, the quarians offer their support to the Alliance if Shepard helps them reclaim their homeworld, Rannoch, from the geth. Assisted by a quarian, either Tali’Zorah or Admiral Daro’Xen, Shepard boards a geth dreadnought and rescues a captive geth unit, either Legion or a facsimile occupied by a geth virtual intelligence (VI), then disables the Reaper control signal over the geth.”
What does this mean? Is Henry Cavill doing research for a role in an unannounced Mass Effect movie or TV series adaptation? Perhaps he’s in the upcoming new Mass Effect 4 game, which was announced late last year on N7 Day 2020?
Perhaps we’ll learn in the near future. Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei!
