The Valorant Challengers Thailand Takes Place This Weekend

The first-ever Valorant Challengers Thailand is coming up. The best teams and players in the region will compete to win a share of the ฿270.000 prize pool. Here’s everything you need to know about VALORANT Challengers Thailand Stage 01.Â
Valorant Challengers Thailand playoffs will be broadcast live on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube and NimoTV with the Week 01 qualifiers taking place on from 29 to 31 January 2021. Day 3 of the qualifier will be broadcast with the pre-show starting at 12.45 GMT+8 on 31 January 2021 and Agent Select starting from 1pm GMT+8.
The main weekend event will take place from 5 to 7 February 2021. The pre-show will start at 12.45 GMT+8, with Agent Select starting at 1pm GMT+8 on each day with the exception of Friday. The pre-show will start at 8.45pm GMT+8, with Agent Select starting at 9pm GMT+8 on Friday.
Players in Valorant Challengers Thailand will be subject to all the usual game rules, as well as the specific tournament rules laid out here.Â
Valorant Challengers Thailand features six weeks of open qualifiers and elimination brackets. Open qualifiers for Challengers Stage 01 Week 01 take place between 29 to 31 January 2021 in Thailand, with a best-of-one match designed to whittle down the competition to the best eight teams in the region.
These eight teams will go on to compete in the main event weekend from 5 to 7 February 2021 in best-of-three for quarters and semi-finals, followed by a best-of-three in the finals for a spot to compete in the next Challengers event taking place from 26 to 28 February 2021. This is a single-elimination tournament, meaning that when you lose a series, you’re out of the competition.Â

Available maps for qualifiers and main events will be Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent and Icebox. Maps will be chosen by teams at the start of each round. All agents in the latest Valorant roster, including our newest agent Yoru, will be available for use in the entire Valorant Challengers Thailand. Â
Registration for the first round of Valorant Challenger Thailand open qualifiers have already closed. Registration for the 2nd qualifier is ongoing up until 14 February 2021. Yyou can head over here to register.
