Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Delayed To “Beyond 2021”
By Alleef Ashaari|February 23, 2021|1 Comment
Hardsuit Labs’ Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 has been plagued by problem after problem since it was announced in early 2019. It was revealed to be delayed to sometime in late 2021 back in December 2020, but now publisher Paradox Interactive has confirmed that the game won’t even be launching in 2021 anymore.
In their year-end financial report for 2020, Paradox Interactive said that they have chosen to delay Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and the game will no longer be launching in 2021.
Strangest of all, they also announced that Hardsuit Labs is no longer the lead developer on the project. Instead, they started working with a new studio, the name of which hasn’t been revealed.
They wrote:
We have now chosen to postpone the release of the game further, and we will not be launching the game in 2021.
We have also decided that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2, and we have started a collaboration with a new studio partner to finish work on the game.
This has been a difficult decision, but we are convinced that it is the right way forward to do the game justice.

In addition, they have stopped accepting pre-orders for the game, since there’s no new release date.
We’re sure the fact that firing several of the game’s important developers like its senior narrative designer, lead writer and creative director must have contributed to this worsening delay situation.
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is slated to release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. In the meantime, check out the latest trailer below.
