Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse Trailer Teases Rainbow Six Leader Origins
By Alleef Ashaari|March 4, 2021|0 Comment
Michael B. Jordan will take on the role of U.S. Navy SEAL John Clark in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse.
What’s interesting is that John Clark is the future leader of Rainbow Six, the secret multinational counter-terrorist unit that is the focus of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six franchise, and Without Remorse serves as an origin story for the character.
Without Remorse is based on the 1993 novel of the same name. John Clark has been featured in many books, games, TV series, and movies ever since. He was previously portrayed by actors Willem Dafoe in 1994’s Clear And Present Danger and Liev Schreiber in 2002’s The Sum Of All Fears.
Check out the official synopsis for Without Remorse:
When a squad of Russian soldiers kills his family in retaliation for his role in a top-secret op, Sr. Chief John Kelly (Michael B. Jordan) pursues the assassins at all costs.
Joining forces with a fellow SEAL (Jodie Turner-Smith) and a shadowy CIA agent (Jamie Bell), Kelly’s mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war.
Torn between personal honor and loyalty to his country, Kelly must fight his enemies without remorse if he hopes to avert disaster and reveal the powerful figures behind the conspiracy.
Without Remorse is directed by Stefano Sollima, who directed HBO’s Gomorrah and Sicario Day Of The Soldado. It is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 30 April 2021.
