Demon Slayer Movie Garners RM1.5 Million In First Weekend In Malaysia
By Alleef Ashaari|March 8, 2021|0 Comment
The Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba Mugen Train movie has garnered almost RM1.5 million in its first weekend in Malaysia. That’s an impressive feat for an anime movie. In Japan, the Demon Slayer movie has already exceeded 37.7 billion yen (about US$358.9 million) and over 27.45 million tickets sold since it originally premiered in Japan back in October 2020.
With Demon Slayer Season 2 coming sometime in 2021, the franchise’s popularity is only set to increase. Both the anime and movie were produced by ufotable, the same studio behind acclaimed anime like Fate/Zero and more.
