Here Are Your Resident Evil Village PC Specs

Capcom’s RE Engine is widely-known to be optimized and capable of rendering amazing graphics even on PCs and laptops with lower specifications. Resident Evil Village seems like it continues that trend, as Capcom reveals the official PC specs for the upcoming game via its Steam page.

MINIMUM:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-7500 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB VRAM / AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM
    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Additional Notes: Estimated performance (when set to Prioritize Performance): 1080p/60fps. ・Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes. ・NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT required to support ray tracing. System requirements subject to change during game development.

According to the official website, 4K / 45FPS and 4K / 60FPS gameplay is possible with the graphic ‘Ray Tracing’ setting. * The frame rate may decrease in heavy load situations. However, players will require NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT in order to activate Ray Tracing.

Resident Evil Village is slated to launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 7 May 2021.
