Borderlands 3 To Get New Anointment Reroll Machine; Hotfixes Nerfs Zane

We’ve got a couple of heavy Borderlands 3 news. Let’s start with:

New Vending Machines

Starting 8th April, Borderlands 3 will be getting new vending machines. One of them is Crazy Earl’s Reroll machine where you can replace existing Anointments on an item you own in exchange for your Eridium. Basically this is the feature every Borderlands 3 player has been craving for, since we have no idea what else to spend our Eridium on.

The new Anointments are done at random, so you’ll probably need to do a lot of rerolling on an item to get the one you need, as well as a ton of Eridium to spare.

The next machine is Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, which sells top-tier Legendary loot but is hidden in a random location on Pandora; basically in any location of the base game.

New 1st April Hotfixes

This week’s hotfix puts a damper on Zane players. Basically the Operative’s Commitment skill will be given a stacking cap of two units to bring it in line with similar skills and prevent excessive stacking. Other tweaks include:

  • Decreased the damage bonus on the Gunner’s Short Fuse skill from 75% to 50%
  • Increased the damage done by skills using the Siren’s Phasecast and Phaseslam:
  • Phasecast – Cast damage increased by 5%

  • Fracture damage bonus increased to 35%
  • Downfall bonus increased to 10%
