Arc System Works just released its new blog post about Guilty Gear Strive’s development as well as some interesting open beta stats in the middle of February.
For starters, the most-used characters during the OBT are Ramlethal, Sol Badguy, and Giovanna. We’re not surprised Sol is in the top 3: he’s always favored over Ky somehow because of his moveset and his look.

Guess everyone’s a sucker for the reformed Ramlethal, her moveset, and her adorable victory screen. You have to be a hateful weab to dislike it.
Other key takeaways from the blog:
- People hated the Network Mode (Online Lobby), to no one’s surprised. It wasn’t an overwhelming amount, but there was a lot of red in the infograph when compared with the rest of the mode rankings like Versus Mode and Tutorial Mode.
- Yes, Arc System Works will add a rematch option for the Online Lobby.
- The majority of players are comfortable with Online Battle thanks to the rollback netcode. This is probably network technology other fighting game-making companies should be using moving forward.
