The latest Genshin Impact heroine is a 4-star ass-kicking nun who hails from Mondstadt and loves to chill with a glass of wine whenever possible. That’s right: you can now gacha for Rosaria in this week’s current limited-time Genshin Impact banner.

While the banner itself prioritizes the 5-star warrior Childe, Rosaria is also quite a catch. Here are her general movesets and passives:

Character Breakdown

Attacks

• Normal attack: Rosaria performs up to five rapid spear strikes in a row.
• Charged attack: Rosaria lunges forward and damages enemies in her path. This attack consumes stamina.
• Plunging attack: Rosaria drives her spear into the ground from midair in an AoE attack.

Elemental Skill: Ravaging Confession

Rosaria slips behind her foe and unleashes a slashing Cryo attack. This skill won’t work on larger opponents, including bosses.

Elemental Burst: Rites of Termination

Rosaria attacks nearby enemies with a broad polearm slash that deals Cryo damage, then summons a massive ice lance and drives it into the ground. The ice lance does a Cryo burst every few seconds in the vicinity.

Passives

• Night Walk: Party movement speed increases by 10% between 6 p.m and 6 a.m (in-game time, which you can adjust manually). This won’t stack with similar effects and doesn’t work in Domains and the Spiral Abyss.
• Regina Probationum: Using Ravaging Confession increases Rosaria’s CRIT rate by 12% for five seconds.
• Shadow Samaritan: Using Rites of Termination increases nearby party members’ CRIT rate by 15% of Rosaria’s current CRIT rate. Shadow Samaritan does not increase Rosaria’s CRIT rate, and the buff cannot exceed 15%.

Constellations

• Unholy Revelation: Rosaria’s critical hits increase her attack speed by 10% for four seconds and her normal attack damage by 10% for four seconds.
• Land Without Promise: The Rites of Termination ice lance remains active for four seconds longer
• The Wages of Sin: Raises Ravaging Confession’s level by three. Ravaging Confession’s max level is 15.
• Painful Grace: Ravaging Confession critical hits restore five Energy to Rosaria. This effect triggers only once every time Rosaria uses Ravaging Confession.
• Last Rites:  Raises Rites of Termination’s level by three. Rites of Termination’s max level is 15.
• Divine Retribution: Rites of Termination decreases enemy physical resistance by 20% for ten seconds.

You’ll be fighting Cryo Regisvine bosses a lot to get Rosaria up to speed level-wise, since they drop the most materials for Cryo characters. You can farm Valberries in the Northeast section of the Mondstadt region, at the Stormbearer Mountains.

Critical-Focused Build

Weapon: Skyward Spine

Artifacts: Berserker set-pieces

Want to add more critical chances & damage to Rosaria’s already-damaging kit? Then give her a weapon like the Skyward Spine that boosts critical and also gives her a fast energy recharge buff. Having her equip Berserker artifacts gives her a critical boost, especially if her health is lower than 70%.

Damage-Focused Build

Weapons: Dragonspine Spear

Artifacts: Gladiator 2-piece, Martial Artist 2-piece

Since Rosaria is meant to be a DPS damage dealer, it’s imperative to make her normal and charge attacks get a passive boost. For added damage, just make Rosaria equip a 4-piece Gladiator set; she gets a 35% attack boost since she’s a polearm user. It’s up to you how you want to equip her, but the Gladiator and Martial Artist artifacts are the way to go for this nun.
