Power Rangers Battle For The Grid Adds Two Iconic Street Fighter Characters
By Alleef Ashaari|April 14, 2021|0 Comment
Power Rangers Battle For The Grid launched in 2019 and already features 21 playable characters from across the franchise, including those from the original Mighty Morphin series, the expanded Boom Studios comics, and the 2017 live-action movie.
Now, developer nWay has announced that Ryu and Chun-Li from Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise will be the next two additions to the game’s roster. Exclusively revealed via IGN, the announcement trailer mostly focuses on Ryu’s combos but ends with an appearance from Chun-Li.
What’s interesting is that they will both be donning their own unique Power Ranger suits, with Ryu officially listed as the Crimson Hawk Ranger and Chun-Li as the Blue Phoenix Ranger.
Both of them will be available in a Power Ranger Battle For The Grid Street Fighter DLC Pack for US$12.50 on 25 May 2021, which will also include exclusive skins that will be revealed at a later date. They can also be purchased separately as well for US$5.99 each.
