Capcom’s Great Ace Attorney Series Will Be Released In English This Year
Capcom has announced that it will be re-releasing its Great Ace Attorney series of games in English this summer all across the world. The collection is called The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
The Great Ace Attorney is a spin-off of the Ace Attorney series, except it take place in Victorian London and Meiji-era Japan. The series spawned two titles: The Great Ace Attorney: The Adventure of Ryunosuke Naruhodo and The Great Ace Attorney 2: The Resolve of Ryunosuke Naruhodo. It also features a Victorian detective named Herlock Sholmes, ensuring that the Capcom localization team are on-point with the game’s mix of humour and wordplay.
The re-releases will feature brand-new English voice acting, 10 episodes/cases, 8 mini escapades, alternate costumes for characters in-game, and an art and music gallery. For the first time, the collection will add in an auto-advancing story mode where players can enjoy the game’s full story without doing the detective work and courtroom battles for themselves.
The two games will be out as a bundle on 27th July for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC (via Steam).
